Dr Eeshara Vithana General Practitioner

Dr Eeshara Vithana graduated from University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka in 1997, then completed a Masters of Medicine (MSc) in 2003. He completed a Doctorate in Medicine (MD) in 2008 at the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. Arriving in Australia in 2010, he completed post-doctoral fellowship at Monash University in 2011 and Fellowship of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2015.
Dr Eeshara has consulted at Dromana Family Doctors as a GP since 2012, and has undergone additional training in cosmetic medicine, obtaining a Diploma of Aesthetic Medicine from Healthcert, Australia. He is passionate about providing a wide range of cosmetic procedures. Dr Eeshara has extensive experience in skin cancer medicine including skin cancer checks, skin excisions, flaps, and other minor surgical procedures. He has completed a Fellowship in Dermatology from Australian Institute of Dermatology, and treats many dermatological conditions including psoriasis, acne, rosacea, eczema, allergies, hair and nails conditions etc.
Dr Daniel Martinez General Practitioner
Dr Daniel Martinez commenced studies in Medicine in Spain where he graduated with MBBS by the University of Alicante in 1996. He then travelled to the UK where he completed postgraduate training as a GP in Basildon Hospital. Dr Martinez returned to Spain and worked as a GP and Emergency Department doctor in various health centres and teaching Hospitals until 2012. He migrated to Australia with his family in 2013 to commence work as a GP in the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, and attained Fellowship with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM). Dr Martinez is experienced in respiratory medicine, cardiology, paediatrics, digestive medicine, neurology, emergency medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology. He has special interest in regenerative medicine, specifically in the management of osteoarthritis. Currently he is experimenting with a new therapy called Platelet Rich Plasma. Dr Martinez is fluent in English and Spanish.
Dr Dilika Perera General Practitioner
Dr Dilika Perera graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and also has a Diploma of Family Medicine and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). She has previously worked at Southern Health rotating between Monash Medical Centre in Clayton and Dandenong hospitals, and has experience in country practice for over 10 years including management of a rural emergency department. Her expertise extends to geriatric care where for the past 5 years she was responsible for a 65-bed aged care facility and a 30-bed nursing home. Dr Perera has a diverse cultural background and studied in both Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Her special interests include paediatrics, women’s health, and dermatology. She is experienced with contraceptive implants, minor skin cancer removals and minor surgical procedures, and is currently pursuing further study to advance her knowledge in skin cancer medicine.

Brandon Farag Podiatrist
Brandon is a passionate podiatrist at Dromana Family Clinic who holds a Bachelor of Applied Science/ Podiatric Practice from La Trobe University. Brandon takes pride in making his own mark with his patients and creating personalised treatment plans to get them reaching their goals. Brandon has extensive knowledge in musculoskeletal injuries, foot and ankle pain, and has managed high risk wound patients. He enjoys tennis and has previously played rugby in the senior’s division at Seaford Rugby Club. Brandon takes pride in being a podiatrist and applying evidence-based practice in all his treatment modalities. Staying up to date with current evidence and applying these principles in practice is one of the many ways he aims to better himself as a podiatrist.
Amy Peng Accredited Practising Dietitian & Nutritionist
Amy Peng is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and Nutritionist and is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese. Amy is passionate about providing both practical and realistic recommendations which will enable you to make sustainable dietary choices to improve your health and well-being. Amy graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics. She is also a trained Life! Program facilitator and supermarket tour facilitator with Diabetes Australia.
Her special interests include:

- Weight management and other metabolic syndrome, e.g. hypertention, dyslipidaemia, fatty liver etc.
